It’s post-Christmas time and your left with piles of old lights, decorations, wrapping paper and of course, the Christmas tree. What are you going to do with all of this trash? RECYCLE WHAT YOU CAN
All of that wrapping paper! So many cardboard boxes! Don’t worry, these items can be broken down and recycled in your local blue bin. You might also want to consider saving and re-using your wrapping paper or using gift bags. If you have an Amazon Prime account you can also request recyclable and minimal packaging.
DON’T TOSS YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE IN THE TRASH
Don’t just toss it in your regular in. Christmas trees needs to be properly discarded and taken to your local landfill or wood chipper. Check your city website for curbside pick-up options or call 24HR Junk removal to take all of your holiday trash at once.
DONATE WHAT YOU DON’T NEED
If you’ve brought new toys, clothing and electronics into your home and have no need for your old ones consider donating your previously loved items to a local charity.
